Ironbridge Park & Ride and Wrekin Connect — Summer 2026

The Ironbridge Gorge Park & Ride runs every weekend from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 13 September 2026, between 10am and 6pm. Park free at Jiggers Bank and hop on and off all day for £2 per adult.

Two different services

🚌 Ironbridge Park & Ride

  • Circular hop-on / hop-off service around the Ironbridge Gorge
  • Starts from the free Jiggers Bank car park
  • £2 per adult for unlimited travel all day
  • Best for visiting Ironbridge, Coalbrookdale, Blists Hill and Madeley

🚍 Wrekin Connect

  • Separate hourly bus service
  • Links Ironbridge Gorge, Jiggers Bank, Wellington and The Wrekin
  • Best for travelling between Ironbridge, Wellington and The Wrekin
  • The £2 Park & Ride ticket is not valid on Wrekin Connect

Why use the Park & Ride?

Skip the car parks and traffic. Free parking at Jiggers Bank (TF4 3XH), then a hop-on / hop-off bus all day around the Gorge. Perfect for exploring Blists Hill Victorian Town, Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, Ironbridge and the wider Gorge without worrying about parking. You can also use the bus without parking — it's open to all visitors.

Wrekin Connect

Wrekin Connect is a separate hourly bus service linking Ironbridge Gorge, Jiggers Bank, Wellington and The Wrekin. Unlike the Park & Ride circular shuttle, it is designed for point-to-point journeys, making it possible to explore The Wrekin and Ironbridge Gorge without moving your car.

Same season as the Park & Ride — every weekend from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 13 September 2026 (plus Bank Holiday Mondays), running hourly in both directions.

Times repeat hourly. For example, a bus arriving at Jiggers Bank at 09.58 continues towards Ironbridge at 10.00.

Service notes

  • 🕙 The first Jiggers Bank → Ironbridge journey starts at 09.00; there is no Wrekin leg before it.
  • 🕕 The last Ironbridge → Wrekin journey leaves The Wharfage at 18.10, arriving The Wrekin 18.40 — check the return leg before setting off late in the day.
  • 🎟 The £2 Ironbridge Park & Ride ticket is not valid on Wrekin Connect. Wrekin Connect has its own fares.
